There are plenty of great networks, resources and knowledge on inclusive business at the BoP. Here are a few links to organisations and networks, some of which are Sweden-specific:
The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) is a government agency working on behalf of the Swedish parliament and government with the mission to reduce global poverty. The agency supports collaboration with the private-sector by offering various financial and support mechanisms to private sector initiatives.
The Practioners Hub for Inclusive Business provides a space for practitioners to connect, share experiences and gain new insights to help their inclusive business ventures grow. The Hub functions as a practical tool on the ground and supports the implementation of inclusive businesses.
The venture capital company Swedfund, owned by the Swedish state, seeks to “help in enabling poor people to improve their lives” by providing risk capital, expertise and financial support for investments in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
The global platform Inclusive Business Accelerator facilitates the acceleration of inclusive business ventures through connecting entrepreneurs with mentors and investors. The platform supports impactful entrepreneurship in Base of the Pyramid (BoP) markets to innovate, grow, replicate and improve their inclusive business strategy.
