Inclusive Business Sweden and Sida are pleased to invite you to an afternoon of inspiration and collaboration where we explore the opportunities associated with one of the fastest-growing markets of today – the 4 billion poor at the “base of the pyramid”.
When: Thursday February 20th 2014, 13.00 – 17.30
Where: Sida HQ, Valhallavägen 199, Stockholm
Get ready to be inspired by leaders in emerging market business strategies and development agencies, including:
- Mike Debelak from Inclusive Business Sweden will welcome participants to the forum together with Anna Rosendahl from the Private Sector Collaboration unit at Sida
- Sergio Codonyer from Coca-Cola will present their “5by20” commitment to enable 5 million women entrepreneurs by 2020
- Eric Usher from the United Nations Environment Programme will present on the “ Sustainable Energy for All” initiative
- Social businesses Peepoople and Emerging Cooking Solutions will present their latest innovations in the fight against poverty
Following the presentations, we will hold collaborative workshops to define the ambitions for a research, innovation and action programme for inclusive business in Sweden. This part of the forum will form the first stage for the development of a collaborative “Inclusive Business Agenda” financed by Vinnova.
The event is free, but seating is limited! You are therefore encouraged to register as soon as possible. A light fika will be provided as well as an opportunity to mingle after the event. Please feel free to invite colleagues who may be interested to attend!
More info regarding the forum and how you can register can be found here.
Varmt välkommen! Look forward to seeing you on February the 20th!
